The media bombards us with serious problems taking place all over the world. It is hard not to feel overwhelmed and powerless in the face of this onslaught. And yet, somehow, we’re called to take a stand, somehow, we’re asked to believe that we can make a difference. Your participation in Teen Service Week is evidence that someone does indeed care. Because of your willingness to try, people all over Chicago will find life just a little easier this summer.
